Bird River Mines Inc. has established 2 divisions - the Mining Division and the Environmental Division.

In the Mining Divison
Bird River Mines has been active in various Manitoba mining camps during the subsequence years. In February, 2001 the company was reorganized and new management and board directors took charge. The new direction of the company was to become a diversified exploration mining company which would focus on the development of precious metals, base metals and industrial minerals properties in Western Canada and Ontario.

In the Environmental Division
The company acquired the bentonite industrial mineral property in 2001. This property is located in southern Manitoba near Miami. This property requires further exploration and assessment of the market demand for the resource.
