The Company
BRMI was founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1958. The company had been active in various
Manitoba mining camps during the subsequent years. In February, 2001, the company was
reorganized and new management and board of directors took charge. The new direction of the company is to become a diversified exploration mining company which will focus on the development of precious metals, base metals and industrial mineral properties in Western Canada and Ontario.
BRMI's current exploration and development activities are located in two areas of Manitoba:
1) The Bird River Greenstone Belt is 125 km northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The company owns two properties in the area. The Ore Fault property of which it acquired 100% ownership in 2004 is a 322 hectare property that hosts a small nickel-copper resource and known concentrations of zinc and cobalt. It is situated on a northwest-southeast trending fault which offsets the Bird River Sill. In May of 2005 the 124 hectare Lotus property comprised of three claims was acquired. The property is located adjacent to the Ore Fault property. The company owns a 100% interest in the mineral claims on these properties.
2) The bentonite (volcanic clay) industrial mineral property was acquired in 2001. This eight
hectare quarry leased property is located 85 km southwest of Winnipeg near Miami, Manitoba. The property hosts a narrow bed of bentonite and requires further exploration and assessment of the market demand for the resource.

Corporate Strategy
To raise sufficient funds to continue development of the company’s present holdings
and to acquire other resource properties which have an immediate cash flow potential
BRM anticipates continued growth as a result of:
• Initiate an active development program on the company’s Bird River Sill properties;
• Expand the company’s resource base by acquisitions, farm-ins and joint ventures;
• Selectively review opportunities in the oil and gas area in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
• Review development and future sales of its bentonite resource.
